​King of Prussia, PA – Verizon Pennsylvania is planning weekday lane closures on U.S. 1 (City Avenue) in Philadelphia and Route 29 (Morehall Road) in Chester County, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for utility installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Monday, June 15, through Wednesday, June 17, on Route 29 (Morehall Road) between Mathews Road and Great Valley Parkway in East Whiteland Township, Chester County; and
• Monday, June 22, through Wednesday, July 22, on U.S. 1 (City Avenue) between Wynnewood Road and 63rd Street in Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
