Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park hosts Night Skies over Babler program Oct. 19
JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JULY 25, 2019 – Come explore the night sky at Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park at 7 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 19. The evening will kick off at the visitor center with a one-hour program called “The Fall Skies.”
Members of the St Louis Astronomical Society will also provide telescopic views of Jupiter and its moons, Saturn and its rings, and the many star clusters, nebulae and galaxies. Participants should bring a lawn chair or blanket and binoculars, dress for temperature drops and bring insect repellent.
