HOUSTON, TX, UNITED STATES, March 1, 2020 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Telemundo broadcasted series, Season 2, LaVoz welcomes Houstonian, Michelle Raymon to its cast of vocalists, officially on Sunday March 1, 2020 as she passes through the blind auditions to the next round of competition under Carlos Vives’ direction, the battle rounds. A recent Houston transplant, Michelle hails from a family of well-known musicians in Colombia, her father being Gabriel Raymon, famous Colombian musician known for some of his traditional works such as include: Alma Negra, Te quiero y qué, El Emigrante, y La Medallita de Oro.

A member of Team Vives, Michelle is excited to explore her talent and vocal specialty “canciones boleros” under Carlos’ direction. Carlos Vives, her coach, turned his chair for her after hearing her powerhouse vocals.

A rigorous competition of over a thousand initial applicants has now narrowed down to 76 individuals for the blind auditions which will be then narrowed down to 48 individuals for the next round of battle rounds. Michelle has cleared the first round or the blind auditions and will continue on to represent Houston during the course of the next qualifiers, the “Battle Rounds.”

Michelle’s musical interest began at a young age when her father allowed for her to practice alongside him and shortly thereafter realized he had a talent on his hands. He then encouraged her to follow her dreams and began to help her develop her skills. To date, Michelle’s gift will light up a room and her personality completely changes into that of a true performer in front of a microphone. Otherwise known as shy and docile, when in front of the microphone, her fierce vocal talent unveils itself and Michelle shows how she is a force to be recon with.

Michelle is no stranger to the stage and has also competed in many other famous reality TV singing shows in Colombia from 2009 to 2016 such as “Factor XS,” “Idol Colombia,” and “A Otro Nivel,” showcasing her love for music, captivating performing skills, and fierce persona on stage.

For Michelle, this opportunity allows her the ability to show others that no dream is too large, and that through hard work and persistence, one can achieve anything. She concludes saying that she is incredibly thankful to Carlos Vives for allowing her the opportunity to showcase her skills and compete in the competition.
