NEW YORK CITY, NY, USA, January 13, 2020 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Leading legal expert and proponent of patent quality and intellectual property rights, Adam Mossoff, has been named to the board of directors of the Center for Intellectual Property Understanding (CIPU), an independent non-profit.

Mr. Mossoff is Professor at George Mason University's Antonin Scalia School of Law. He is founder and past-Executive Director of the Center for the Protection of Intellectual Property. His academic research has been cited by the Supreme Court, by the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and by federal agencies. Professor Mossoff has been invited to testify several times before the Senate and the House on proposed patent legislation, and he has spoken at numerous congressional staff briefings.
