APYX ALERT: Rosen, an Internationally Recognized Law Firm, Reminds Apyx Medical Corporation Investors of June 17th Deadline in the Securities Class Action; Encourages Investors with Over $100K in Losses to Contact the Firm – APYX

NEW YORK, June 13, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Rosen Law Firm, a global investor rights law firm, reminds purchasers of the securities of Apyx Medical Corporation (NASDAQ: APYX) from August 1, 2018 through April 1, 2019, inclusive (the “Class Period”) of the important June 17, 2019 deadline in the securities class action. The lawsuit seeks to recover damages for Apyx investors under the federal securities laws.

To join the Apyx class action, go to https://www.rosenlegal.com/cases-register-1560.html or call Phillip Kim, Esq. or toll-free at 866-767-3653 or email pkim@rosenlegal.com or cases@rosenlegal.com for information on the class action.

NO CLASS HAS YET BEEN CERTIFIED IN THE ABOVE ACTION. UNTIL A CLASS IS CERTIFIED, YOU ARE NOT REPRESENTED BY COUNSEL UNLESS YOU RETAIN ONE. YOU MAY RETAIN COUNSEL OF YOUR CHOICE. YOU MAY ALSO REMAIN AN ABSENT CLASS MEMBER AND DO NOTHING AT THIS POINT. AN INVESTOR’S ABILITY TO SHARE IN ANY POTENTIAL FUTURE RECOVERY IS NOT DEPENDENT UPON SERVING AS LEAD PLAINTIFF.

According to the lawsuit, defendants throughout the Class Period made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (1) the clinical study on the use of J-Plasma, a plasma-based surgical product for cutting, coagulation, and ablation of soft tissue, for dermal resurfacing had not met its primary efficacy endpoint; (2) the clinical study did not support Apyx’s application for regulatory clearance; (3) Apyx was unlikely to receive regulatory approval of J-Plasma for dermal resurfacing; and (4) as a result of the foregoing, defendants’ positive statements about Apyx’s business, operations, and prospects were materially false and/or misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.

A class action lawsuit has already been filed. If you wish to serve as lead plaintiff, you must move the Court no later than June 17, 2019. A lead plaintiff is a representative party acting on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation.
