Gettysburg, Pa, May 06, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- OPEN MINDS has released an updated suite of Medicaid market intelligence resources on the state of New Mexico. The resources include analysis of the New Mexico’s Medicaid system, Medicaid managed care vendor contracts, and additional state-specific information.

New Mexico’s Medicaid managed care program is called Centennial Care. Three health plans deliver physical health, behavioral health benefits, and long-term services and supports (LTSS) for most populations, including families and children, Medicaid expansion adults, and aged and disabled adults. The health plans are available statewide.

The three health plans were selected during a reprocurement process in 2018. The new contracts went into effect January 1, 2019. Contracts for the three health plans are available for download:

• Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico
• Presbyterian Health Plan
• Western Sky Community Care

The new managed care contract includes a quality withhold of 1.5% to be returned if delivery system improvements are met.
