Huambo, ANGOLA, February 15 - A multi-sector delegation, led by the minister of Territory Administration and State Reform Adão de Almeida, evaluated Friday the operation conditions of the social equipment of Lossambo satellite city, outskirt the capital of the central Huambo province. ,

 

The evaluation comes in the light of the new organic statute of the satellite cities, according to Law 13/16 based on administrative organisation law.

This principle stipulates basis for the organisation of Angolan territory for political-administrative purposes and designation, creation, classification and progression of urban units and other population agglomerations.

The visiting delegation learned of the operation of the local infrastructure.

They visited police station, primary school, sewage collection and treatment system, health center and the thermal power station, as well as the site of soil erosion in progression.

The delegation integrates Secretaries of State for Health, Education, Fisheries, Social Action, Energy and Water, Construction and interior.

Representatives of Ministries of  Finance and Trade are also sharing the delegation.

Lossambo comprises 2009 residences.
