Head of State meets with head of Portuguese diplomacy
The Portuguese top diplomat who did not speak to journalists at the end of the audience granted by the Angolan head of State, Joao Lourenço, arrived in Luanda last Thursday for a 24-hour visit.
Portuguese Foreign Affairs Minister's agenda also includes a meeting with the Angolan counterpart, Manuel Augusto, followed by a meeting between ministerial delegations of the two countries and statements to the press.

Angola and Portugal established diplomatic relations on March 9, 1976. Within the economic framework, Portuguese companies have a considerable presence in the Angolan market, in sectors such as construction, banking, food and beverage exports.
