Items once only available in store are now available online

CHICAGO, Jan. 17, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- EVERYTHING BUT THE HOUSE (EBTH), the trusted online marketplace for authenticated pre-owned goods and estate sales, today announced a new auction featuring items from Judy Maxwell Home, the Chicago-based Urban General Store owned by actress Joan Cusack. The auction is now live and items can be viewed and purchased here through January 23 at 8:30 pm Eastern.

The items included in the sale represent a walk-through of the collection at Cusack’s beloved store, Judy Maxwell Home. According to Cusack, the name of the store was chosen after the name of her favorite movie character, played by Barbra Streisand in the movie What’s Up, Doc?

Now more than ever it is a store meant to have a fun and uplifting feel, where you can go for cards and gifts,” said Cusack. “It has been a joy to find unusual things and objects over the years and intersperse them with modern and fun everyday gifts. • Red Patent Leather Prada Flats
• Estelle Fedelle Oil Painting “1/2 Hr. Sketch”
• A variety of items related to the movie Toy Story (Joan was the voice of Jessie), including a Toy Story sleeping bag signed by Joan and a Toy Story stuffed Woody doll.

The auction also contains some items from the years of collecting vintage, fun clothes and art work as the shop has evolved. Judy Maxwell Home has been open since May of 2011.
