Barbie Bigelow Selected as CIO of Black & Veatch

Innovator and industry leader to lead Digital Strategy and IT teams as technology transforms infrastructure market

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Dec. 12, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Black & Veatch today announced that Barbie Bigelow has been selected as Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Company. Bigelow will lead digital strategy and the Information Technology (IT) services team which provides the advanced tools and technologies required to execute increasingly complex global infrastructure projects. She will be based in Overland Park, Kansas.

Bigelow has more than three decades of experience in IT, including leadership positions with Jacobs Engineering Group and TASC, a spinoff of Northrup Grumman, which provided professional services for the intelligence community and public sector as well as Lockheed Martin and IBM.

In addition, she serves on the executive advisory board at Moxie Rocket and has founded two companies to help clients assess cyber risks and execute strategic moves while leveraging technology to accelerate growth and increase margins.
