Government strengthens action against corruption, money laundering
Luanda, ANGOLA, December 11 - The Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Francisco Queiroz said Tuesday that anti-corruption and money-laundering actions will have greater intervention by institutions that fight phenomenon.,
The Cabinet minister who was speaking at the training seminar on combating crimes of corruption and money laundering said that the seminar will focus on the values of transparency, loyalty and rigor.
Francisco Queiroz considered natural the skepticism that "still remain” in the conscience of many people, regarding the fight against corruption.
To him, the goals established in the fight against this evil, is imperative that the operators of the entire state machine be trained.
The intention is to make them more and more able to contribute to what has been called common cause, in an allusion to the prevention and fight against corruption.
The Cabinet official also said that the Ministry of Justice is developing a campaign to moralize society, based on prevention, monitoring and accountability.
This action is aimed at improving the environment in which justice official’s work.
The training seminar on combating crimes of corruption and money laundering involves experts from the country's 18 provinces and foreign experts.
The event is part of the International Day to Combat Corruption, marked last Monday (10).
