The presentation of the 476-page book, was done by Jorge Coelho (former leader of the Socialist Party), who underlined the fact that the work presents details about the first year of governance of President João Lourenço.

Jorge Coelho said that "News from the Palace" is a work with a great political content and that refers to the new paradigm in which Angola tries to insert itself in the world.

Writer Luis Fernando, a journalist by profession, considered the Book “a mere glance of a lucky journalist" for being part of the team from which everything emanates. As a journalist, the author is Secretary for Institutional Communication and Press Affairs of the President of the Republic.

The purpose of the Book is to establish memories and it is an area that is interested to launch in recent times, initiated with "Angola: Memory of the political tradition of José Eduardo dos Santos to João Lourenço", in two volumes.

Luis Fernando is a member of the Angolan Writers' Union (UEA), since 2009, he has  released close to 20 books , highlighting "The Health of the Dead", "Before the Bedroom", "João Kyomba in New York", "Clandestine in  Paradise "," The City and the Two Cursed Orphans "and" A Year of Life ".
