NEW YORK, Oct. 15, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Fitzpatrick & Hunt, Pagano, Aubert, LLP (Fitzpatrick & Hunt) announced today that Joseph A. Franceski, Esq., joins the law firm as Of Counsel.  Previously, he served as aviation claims practice leader (US) at Marsh Aviation.

Franceski has worked extensively in the aviation insurance and defense industry since 1984.  Prior to joining Marsh & McLennan Companies, he worked as a claims attorney and officer at United States Aircraft Insurance Group (USAIG), managing aviation products liability, airline and general aviation (GA) investigations, claims, litigation, and settlements.  Franceski also worked as a trial attorney in Hartford, Connecticut, representing parties in trials and appeals for Howard, Kohn, Sprague & FitzGerald, Gillette & Sullivan and its successor firms, and as an in-house trial attorney for Aetna Insurance Company.

A frequent speaker and panelist at aviation-related CLE and client-specific programs and seminars nationally and in Europe, Franceski also served as an advisor to manufacturers and operators on insurance coverage questions, government and commercial contracts, lender and lessor liability, insurance market relations from the United States, United Kingdom and Continental perspectives, emergency response planning, and related topics.

In addition to providing legal services to Fitzpatrick & Hunt clients, Franceski will head the firm’s coverage practice group, providing analysis and counsel to underwriters on policy interpretation in the airline, GA, and lender-lessor sectors.  He will work principally in the firm’s Stamford, Connecticut, office opening in November.

Franceski earned his J.D. from University of Connecticut, and a B.A. with honors, in History from Fordham University.  He is admitted to practice law in New York and Connecticut.
