Online Format Begins January 2019; New Classes Start Every Eight Weeks

BOILING SPRINGS, NORTH CAROLINA, UNITED STATES, October 5, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Godbold School of Business at Gardner-Webb University is pleased to announce the launch of a 10-month Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. Offered in a fully online format, enrollment is now open, and classes begin in January 2019.

“We created this innovative program specifically to meet the needs of active professionals,” noted Mischia Taylor, dean and instructor of business. “Individuals who have been hesitant to commit to a two-year program can earn their MBA at a faster pace. The design is student-friendly and allows for ease of use.”

While other colleges offer similar MBA programs, Gardner-Webb’s format is unique. “Our design allows a student to take two courses every eight weeks,” Taylor explained. “The students are in something similar to a cohort, so they get to know their peers, work together and all become successful. Our entire faculty has worked to develop courses that are of the highest quality and value. We are also proud this program maintains the Gardner-Webb tradition of small class sizes, which gives us an opportunity to develop relationships with our students.”

The curriculum is structured to provide students with the managerial skills needed for successful leadership. Approaches to problem solving are stressed through the use of practical applications of academic concepts and theories. While developing a knowledge of key business functions such as accounting, economics and marketing, students also gain real-world experience through service opportunities, course projects, course simulations and interactions with business leaders.
