“We all need somebody who really cares about us, who takes an interest,” says Grace. “I listen to my clients. I ask them, ‘How can I help you with meeting your dream and you goal?’”

Grace has enjoyed great success as a home-based business affiliate marketer working with other companies and promoting their products. While many network marketers choose a product and stick with it, Grace recommends diversifying to market multiple products across multiple platforms.

“You need multiple streams of income because if one of them dries up or something happens, then you're stuck,” says Grace. “I've seen that happen to too many of people who invested into one company and it went belly-up and they lost all this money and had to start all over. That's why we have multiple streams of income. You ask the right kinds of questions and you target your people for the product that interests them.”

Still, says Grace, home-based affiliate marketing does not mean you stay home. You’ve got to get out there and meet people in person.

“I'm not a very bashful person. I do a lot of networking. I belong to a chamber of commerce here. I go to a lot of events where I meet all these people and I identify with them and I share with them.”
