Harris Institute will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2019 with $30,000 in scholarships for its music industry programs.

Founded in 1989, Harris Institute offers accelerated 12-month diploma programs taught by award winning active industry leaders. In the last two years alumni won 97 awards including Grammy, Emmy, JUNO, SOCAN, CCMA and Canadian Screen Awards.

An unprecedented partnership with the University of the West of Scotland enables Harris graduates to earn degrees on full scholarships.  Graduates who complete both diploma programs are eligible to also earn Master’s Degrees at UWS in a total of 32 months.
 
The college is the only school outside the US in Billboard Magazine’s ‘Top 11 Schools’ and it ranked best private school for a 6th year in the 2018 ‘Media Arts Education Report’. Harris Institute is the only post-secondary school in North America to achieve four 0% ‘Student Loan Default Rates’. 

The music industry is experiencing exponential growth after years of decline. Harris Institute is preparing the next generation of music industry leaders for lifelong careers in an exciting new era. 

Thirty $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to students starting the Audio Production Program or Arts Management Program in March and July 2019. Fifteen scholarships for each start will go to qualified candidates on a first come basis.
