Luanda, ANGOLA, August 16 - The President of the Republic Wednesday ordered the creation of an Inter-ministerial Commission to Follow Up on the Adjustment of the Organization of the Petroleum Sector, coordinated by the Minister of Mineral and Petroleum Resources.,

The commission will run until December 31, 2020 and will present quarterly reports of the activities carried out to the President of the Republic, according to a press release sent to ANGOP by the Civil House.

Take part in the commission, the Minister of Finance, as Deputy, the Secretaries of State for Petroleum, Budget and Public Investment, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sonangol E.P.

 

In another decree, the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, created the Installing Committee of the National Agency of Petroleum and Gas (ANPG), whose duties include, among others, the creation of necessary and indispensable conditions through definition, in detail, of the stages of its implementation.

The commission is coordinated by the national director of Petroleum, Amadeu de Azevedo.
