Foreign minister arrives in Lisbon for EuroAfrica Forum

Lisbon, ANGOLA, July 9 - Foreign minister Manuel Augusto arrived on Monday morning in Lisbon, Portugal, to participate in the EuroAfrica Forum, scheduled to happen this Tuesday, in the Portuguese capital city. ,

The Angolan government official - who has been invited by the Portuguese Foreign minister, Augusto Santos Silva - is to be received in an audience by the Portuguese Head of State, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.   

 

The Angolan Foreign minister is also to be received in an audience by the Portuguese Premier, António Costa, and will participate in a bilateral meeting between Portuguese and Angolan officials.

 

Manuel Augusto’s agenda includes participation in a collective interview to be held in the Palácio das Necessidades (Necessidades Palace), headquarters of the Portuguese Foreign Affairs Ministry.  

 

Still this Monday, the Angolan Foreign minister will attend a reception offered by the Portuguese Head of State, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, in the ambit of the visit of Prince Aga Khan, leader of the Nizari Ismailis community (a section of Islam).

 

The Angolan Foreign minister, Manuel Augusto, is to stay in that European country for three days.
