Binghamton’s Album Rock Z93 to promote area events
Originally started as a tribute to the former local FM station Z93 (which switched formats in August 2017), the new Z93 plays classic rock hits and deeper album cuts from the mid-60’s to the mid-90’s. As of May 2018, it features the largest classic rock song library in the area, at over 2,000 titles. In addition, Z93 periodically produces a one-hour Local Music Showcase, featuring talent from the local music scene.
One of the station’s important goals is to promote local businesses and events both on the air and on its website events page. Any interested local business or non-profit organization can submit events to media@z93rock.com at least one week in advance of their event.
