The Aesthetic Show 2018 Tracks Course for Global Aesthetic Market

NEW YORK, June 25, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- As the premier scientific conference in the medical aesthetic space, The Aesthetic Show™ (TAS), taking place July 5 – 8, 2018 at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas, Nev., will attract over 3,000 top physicians, business analysts, industry executives and product manufacturers in the medical aesthetic world.  For four days, the conference will provide direct access to elite thought leaders and practitioners via educational sessions, workshops, focus courses and hands-on training.

/EIN News/ -- Unlike most medical aesthetic meetings, TAS defines the industry’s megatrends, offering a highly effective multidisciplinary venue for professionals to freely exchange information, tips and techniques on the latest procedures, products and technologies.

Led by Scientific Chairman Andrew Ordon, M.D., F.A.C.S., acclaimed plastic and reconstructive surgeon and host of CBS-TV’s The Doctors, TAS’s top-tier faculty includes well-known anti-aging, cosmetic surgery and aesthetic medicine experts from around the globe. “The Aesthetic Show expands and evolves as our industry grows,” he said. “It also benefits from being a multidisciplinary meeting. Attendees from various specialties, from plastic surgery to cosmetic dermatology and related fields, stay ahead of the curve in terms of applying the latest techniques and technologies in their practices. In addition to the fantastic scientific program, people are encouraged to network with each other and with some of the bigger players in our industry that attend the show.”

This year’s educational program has been enhanced with in-depth pre-show courses that cover the latest trends in medical aesthetics, from women’s health and the art of male aesthetics to beginner and advanced facial injectables training, emerging regenerative aesthetics technologies and techniques, and the industry’s only Certified Aesthetic Consultant (CAC) practice management program.

TAS’s award-winning CAC program is an intensive one-day lecture series that highlights practice building and financial strategies that work. Covering a variety of practice management themes, including how to engage new and existing clients to grow demand, develop patient loyalty and increase revenue; marketing tactics; practice metrics and counseling skills, CAC benefits all practice staff, from the physician to the receptionist.

In addition to the diverse educational program, hands-on training courses include live patient demonstrations during the Advances Hands-On Facial Injectables course and interactive workshops provided by experts. For instance, the advanced neurotoxin techniques course will cover principles and practices to achieve optimal results for facial shaping, as well as wrinkle reduction and facial rejuvenation. In the advanced dermal filler techniques course, faculty will provide an overview of the variety of products available, the latest off-label injection techniques and tips on assessing patient needs. Participants can earn CME credit upon completion of these and many other courses offered throughout the show.

“I’ve always returned home with premium solutions and techniques that I can implement right away,” stated Gregory Chernoff, M.D., a facial plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, Calif. “All of the scientific sessions and workshops are geared toward how to improve your clinical practice.”
As attendees learn about new breakthroughs in clinical approaches described in TAS 2018’s scientific sessions and workshops, they are also able to “kick the tires” and purchase current technology and products on display from over 200 exhibitors in the expanded Exhibit Hall.

As the longstanding highlight of TAS, the TAG! You’re IT! Aesthetic Awards honors advancements in aesthetic medicine. Practitioners were invited to submit their work to be evaluated by their peers. “The high levels of excellence in aesthetic outcomes that the Aesthetic Award winners display are diverse, dramatic and highly desirable, such that they are a source of inspiration for other members of the faculty and all attendees of this innovative, fun and entertaining event,” expressed Christine Petti, M.D., F.A.C.S., a plastic surgeon in Torrance, Calif.

Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony, taking place on Saturday, July 7, 2018in the TAS exhibit hall, and will be hosted by Dr. Ordon.

This year's event is the first in a new partnership between The Aesthetic Show and UBM plc, the world’s largest pure-play business-to-business events organizer and marketing services organization. “The Aesthetic Show is now under the umbrella of a bigger entity that has a long track record in events and meetings globally,” Dr. Ordon expressed. “This partnership is, if you will, an exciting upgrade and is going to enhance the show going forward.”

“In addition, UBM's participation has opened up significant opportunities to expand and improve The Aesthetic Show experience,” stated Eileen Baird, Vice President of Events at UBM plc. "We are able to increase the depth and breadth of the conference program and the community we serve, providing a more valuable experience for all participants.”
