Every year, hundreds of people are killed and tens of thousands are injured in crashes involving alcohol and/or drugs.

MADD Canada and Allstate Insurance Company of Canada are asking everyone to celebrate responsibly and leave the car at home if they’re going to be drinking. Call an Uber or a taxi, take public transit, or arrange for a designated driver.

“The tragic deaths and injuries caused by impaired driving are completely preventable. Please leave the driving to someone sober. If everyone does their part, we can have a holiday long weekend free from the devastation of impaired driving,” said Allstate Insurance Company of Canada President and CEO Ryan Michel.
