Head of State demands smoothness for public transport
Luanda, ANGOLA, June 21 - Angola's President of Republic João Lourenço Thursday in Luanda called for more "bold solutions for urban and interurban public transport, mainly in large cities", with stress to Luanda, home to about nine million inhabitants.

The Head of State made the call at the swearing in ceremony of the new Transport minister, Ricardo de Abreu.
The President said that this is a challenge that must respond to the growing population demand.
The new minister, acknowledged the great challenges in a strategic sector for the economy and national development."
Ricardo de Abreu, who was appointed on Wednesday by the President João Lourenço, takes over from Augusto da Silva Tomás.
