Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Alexey Mordashov, Director General of Severgroup, today signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2018 an Agreement of Cooperation.

The document is aimed at the implementation of Gazprom's promising projects for natural gas processing and liquefaction and field development on the continental shelf, as well as at the efficiency enhancement in long-distance gas transmission.

Particularly, the parties will cooperate in adopting and localizing LNG plant construction technologies within Russia and creating equipment for those, as well as in designing domestic innovative materials for offshore field pre-development. The cooperation will also extend to the creation of Russian materials and technologies helping reduce capital investments in the construction of linear gas pipelines and compressor stations and increase the energy efficiency of their operation.
