Commissioner Malmström met U.S. Secretary of Commerce Ross in Washington D.C.

EU Commissioner for Trade Cecilia Malmström is in Washington D.C., where she met yesterday with US Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross.
Following their meeting, the two released the following joint statement:
“We have agreed to launch immediately a process of discussion with President Trump and the Trump Administration on trade issues of common concern, including steel and aluminium, with a view to identifying mutually acceptable outcomes as rapidly as possible.”
