Huawei, Siklu, NEC Lead in E/V Band Unit Shipments

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., March 19, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- According to a recently published report from Dell’Oro Group, the trusted source for market information about the telecommunications, networks, and data center IT industries, E/V Band unit shipments glistened for the Microwave Transmission market in 2017. Huawei, Siklu, and NEC lead in E/V Band unit shipments.

“While still a relatively small market, E/V Band has enjoyed six years of market growth,” said Jimmy Yu, Vice President at Dell’Oro Group. “Even though revenues for this project are small, it has been steadily expanding year-over-year and the last quarter in which it declined year-over-year was 2Q12. We expect demand for E/V Band to continue as countries – like India, for example – make 60 GHz and 70/80 GHz spectrums available,” Yu explained.
