Angolan President to visit Brazil in May

The diplomat, who is in Angola for a working visit, said this to the press at the end of an audience granted by the President, João Lourenço in Luanda.
According to him, the Angolan Head of State's visit to Brazil will be the culmination of a series of initiatives under way between the countries.
Last January, after a meeting with the Brazilian counterpart in Davos (Switzerland), the Angolan Statesman had announced his first official visit to Brazil at the invitation of President Michel Temer.
Angola/Brazil cooperation cover the areas of health, education, defence, agriculture, telecommunications, culture and fisheries.
Brazil was the first country to recognise Angola's independence in 1975.
