Governor of Cabinda praises deeds of former combatants
Cabinda, ANGOLA, January 17 - The provincial governor of Cabinda, Eugénio Laborinho, Wednesday in this city the praised of former combatants and veterans of the country, throughout the process of the struggle for the conquest of national independence and the defense of the motherland.,
Eugénio Laborinho made this remark in the provincial act of the celebrations of January 15, Day of the Former Combatants and Veterans of the Homeland, marked Monday in all national territory.
The official stated that he was aware of the great problems faced by the former combatants and veterans of the country. However, he explained that their solution depends not only on the government but on the mobilization of the whole of society, in order to find solutions to minimize these difficulties.
He stressed that the Angolan government has defined public policies for the insertion of former combatants and veterans of the mother country in socioeconomic programs and projects, with a view to self-support and income.
