Zaire: Police foils foreigners' illegal attempt to enter Luanda
Mbanza Kongo, ANGOLA, January 10 - At least 48 Congolese citizens among them 16 women, were arrested on Monday by the National Police in the bordering region of Zaire and Bengo provinces, while trying to enter illegally in Angola's capital, Luanda. ,
According to the third sub-chief of the Foreigner and Migration Services (SME) in the region, Matias Bena, the detainees will be repatriated to their country of origin in the forthcoming days.
Zaire province shares 330 kilometers of border with the Central region of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
