Still, says Gregg, improving communication and creativity requires that a leader effectively convey their vision.

“If you want to have high-performing teams, you as a leader have to model those behaviors,” says Gregg. “It's not what you say, it's what you do. So it really is about having expectations that push people outside of their comfort zones so everyone succeeds.”
