Yesterday, U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin met with Libyan Prime Minister Fayez al-Serraj. The Secretary and Prime Minister discussed economic issues facing the Libyan people and Secretary Mnuchin welcomed the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s strong engagement with the Government of National Accord and the Central Bank of Libya. The Secretary and Prime Minister underscored the importance of continued cooperation in countering the financing of terrorism.
