Flight Network’s World’s 50 Best Beaches list is unlike anything else ever created because it was compiled based on the votes of hundreds of the world’s most respected travel professionals. Flight Network’s inaugural World’s 50 Best Beaches list provides a snapshot of the opinions and firsthand experiences of top travel professionals from the world’s most prestigious agencies and publications.

The World’s 50 Best Beaches were ranked according to five important criteria: sheer untouched beauty, remoteness, sand and water quality, annual days of sunshine, and average annual temperature. The three beaches that shot to the top of the list are Turks & Caicos’ Grace Bay, Australia’s Whitsunday Islands and Anse Lazio of the Seychelles — pushing regular ‘top beach’ favourites touted by tourism boards off the list.
