The Performance Leadership Awards program identifies top quartile performance by rural providers in the categories of Quality, Outcomes and Patient Perspective. Top performers in each category are determined using the data analysis of iVantage’s Hospital Strength INDEX®, which is widely regarded as the most objective and comprehensive assessment of rural provider performance. A complete list of this year’s award recipients can be found at http://www.ivantageindex.com/top-performing-hospitals/.

“Each year, National Rural Health Day provides an opportunity to have a national conversation about how to best address the challenges confronting rural providers and how they can improve performance and prepare for further changes ahead,” said Michael Topchik, National Leader of The Chartis Center for Rural Health. “This year’s Performance Leadership Award recipients are moving the needle forward on performance, and adding their name to a growing list of rural providers who are demonstrating measurable value to the rural communities they serve.”
