ORLANDO, FL, UNITED STATES, October 31, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- CIM-Tech.com will demonstrate Auto-CIM, the key to easily converting 3D solid models to machine-ready 2D drawings, at the 2017 Woodworking Machinery and Supply Expo (WMS) in Toronto, Canada Nov. 2-4. Auto-CIM automates the “Design to Production” process for one machine or several at the same time. The software will notify users when production is complete or needs further input. By removing the need for CNC technicians to manually process each part, it drastically reduces programming time.

Prom says that one of the most appreciated features of Auto-CIM is that it has the ability to notify CNC operators by email during each step of the processing. It will message the user with relevant notifications to ensure that the required processing has started, any deviations or errors that may have occurred and when the Auto-CIM process has been completed. These notifications allow operators and managers alike to stay connected to the programming process and know that the CNC machines are receiving the files needed to increase throughput.

Here is how it works:
1) Auto-CIM Automatically imports the solid model into AutoCAD for processing by Solid-CIM 3D. (Solid-CIM 3D fully integrates drawings from all the major design software providers- SOLIDWORKS®, Solid Edge® and Autodesk® Inventor.)
2) Auto-CIM then exports the individual drawing files, and creates a custom CSV file for importing into Router-CIM Automation Suite.
3) Then Auto-CIM creates jobs, assigns tool paths, and produces machine-ready CNC code without human intervention.
4) Auto-CIM notifies users when the processing is complete, finds errors or is waiting for next-step input.
