The leaders highlighted the importance of supporting the Euro-Atlantic aspirations of the countries of the Western Balkans and agreed to work in concert to promote a peaceful, prosperous, European future for the people of the region. The Vice President thanked Mogherini for the European Union's partnership in addressing shared challenges, and the leaders looked forward to future cooperation.
