International Harbor Foundation: Hurricane Harvey Lives Still Matter

Hurricane Relief Still Needed

HOUSTON, TX, USA, September 8, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- International Harbor Foundation remains elite in the way that they help victims of Hurricane Harvey. The former Special Operations Forces Team rescued 35 people in Spring, TX and direct supported countless victims in the hardest hit areas over the past week. Additionally, this team worked night and day with limited sleep to help those in need. The needs of those in trouble remains critical to the International Harbor Foundation’s core focus. The ability to fight against human trafficking is a daily mission for this foundation. During and after a natural disaster, human trafficking increases because accountability and oversight is mixed up in the fog of chaos created by the disaster. The selfless service of the International Harbor Foundation continues to have rippling effects throughout the world, the United States, Texas and Louisiana and the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

Help Is Still Needed

Other groups have a different mission with the same desire to help those in need. Construction supplies are needed at a distribution center to help rebuild the homes of some neighborhoods in their area of operation. The following items are urgently needed: Drywall, Drywall Screws, Insulation, Tape, MVO/Tape, Drywall Trowels, 10 Mil Plastic, Wheel Barrows, Square Shovels, Lumber, Drywall Knives, Carpet Knives, Tents, Hammers (Claw), Gloves, Hard Hats, Safety Glasses. The recovery phase of the operation is always the one that people forget about. The Operations Director indicated that help is urgently needed because it is the smaller cities that need more attention.
