Company to continue focus on bringing innovative solutions to market

TORONTO, Aug. 01, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SPR & Co LP, the new operating company created to assume portfolio management of the Canadian diversified assets of Sprott Asset Management LP (“SAM”), announced today that it has successfully closed the purchase of the related management contracts from SAM.

The agreement, announced in April, allows SPR & Co LP to build on the success of the acquired business, which offers innovative investment solutions to Canadian advisors and their clients. As well, SPR & Co LP will continue to offer leading resource and precious metals strategies through an exclusive sub-advisory relationship with SAM.

In the coming months, the company intends to launch a new brand for SPR & Co LP.
