Capo's Prayer Author Kimberly R. Morgan to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

You have to draw people in through emotion and write so the everyday person can feel it.”
— Kimberly R. Morgan

TUPELO, MISSISSIPPI, UNITED STATES, May 30, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Kimberly R. Morgan is the international bestselling author of the popular Capo’s Prayer series: The Capo’s Prayer and its follow up The Capo’s Prayer: Revelations.

“These books delve into the emotional side of these Mafia men, their families, their children, the destiny they were born into and how they handle being given a life sentence that can feel like a death sentence as well,” says Morgan. “It’s graphic and violent as most of my work is.”

To look at Morgan, you wouldn’t think she was the imagination behind the graphic violence and adult content found in her stories.

“The juxtaposition between what I am and what I write. It takes people aback,” admits Morgan. “People wonder, ‘Where did this come from?’ I’m 5’2, weigh 112 lbs. I’m a cross between a southern belle and a steel magnolia. Most of the time, I’m very gracious, sweet and kind, but there’s a side we all have that is dark, maybe even touched with a little evil.

The first Capo’s Prayer released in August 2016, held the top four spots on Amazon’s Hot New Release in all four categories, English and Italian paperback, and Kindle in both English and Italian. The Capo’s Prayer: Revelations was released in April, 2017.

“I try to write books where, if you have a four-hour plane trip, you can stay engrossed and finish it on the plane,” says Morgan. “I don’t write massive books. I don’t have time for it and I’ve found readers don’t like it. So, I put all I have into every page.”

As for the future, Kimberly will continue to work in Hollywood, as an executive producer, transitioning from writing to producing more short films and then making them into feature films. She is currently developing screenplays for both Capo’s Prayer books. The producing team is pursuing investors to make these two films into box office sensations.

“If there’s one thing I can do well, that is write emotion,” says Morgan. “You have to draw people in through emotion and write so the everyday person can feel it. I call it ‘coloring in.’ That’s when you add the emotions and the feelings to move people in one direction or the other. You bring your words to life. If I can’t make myself laugh, or cry while writing, then I can’t make the reader laugh or cry.”

CUTV News Radio will feature Kimberly R. Morgan in an interview with Jim Masters on June 1st at 4pm EDT and with Doug Llewelyn on June 8th at 4pm EDT.
