Gazprom Neft named one of Russia’s most attractive employers in this year’s Randstad Award

Gazprom Neft has been placed among the winners in ratings of Russia’s most attractive employers in the 2017 international Randstad Award. The HR services of the country’s 150 largest employers were assessed by independent international research company TNS Global, based on the results of an independent study involving interviews with more than 14,000 respondents both employed and unemployed across eight federal districts — making this some of the most authoritative and objective research undertaken.

Gazprom Neft last year won its nomination for “Most Attractive Employer for Young People”, losing to Gazprom in the main competition.

Vitaly Baranov, Deputy CEO for Administration, Gazprom Neft, commented: “Gazprom Neft has now became a worthy successor to Gazprom, winning the Randstad Award three times in a row and, consistent with competition rules, taking its place in the Hall of Fame. Despite the fact that the main criteria for employer attractiveness in our country remain salary competitiveness and a competitive benefits package, research undertaken for the Randstad Award shows that, along with financial stability and the guarantee of long-term employment, the most important thing — for job seekers and existing employees — is the opportunity for self-development, and the opportunity for interesting challenges: that is, the key opportunities inherent in our company’s value proposition.”

The Randstad Award is made every year to the world’s most attractive employer. Launched initially by Randstad in 2000 in Belgium to evaluate 50 local employer brands, the Randstad Award has, over the last 15 years, expanded to cover 3,500 organisations worldwide. Since 2016 analysis has been undertaken by international research company TNS Global, in 26 countries around the world. Russia has participated in the project for the past three years, partnering with recruitment group Ancor.
