Quintero-Moore tasted his first fifteen minutes of fame when he successfully auditioned at a casting call hosted at the Sugar House Casino in Philadelphia for a role in the soap opera, “The Young and The Restless”. His performance piece, a re-enactment of a small monologue must have been quite impressive, because much to his surprise following his audition, he was approached by Alexandria Hoff, a local reporter from CBS Eyewitness News (KYW1060) on Channel 3 in Philadelphia, who had witnessed his performance. Ms. Hoff invited Quintero-Moore to play a small impromptu, unscripted acting role with her, and the ensuing scene that unfolded set him on the path to certain stardom. Moore and Hoff created their own dialogue, unrehearsed on live TV and despite having had no time to practice, Mr. Quintero-Moore showed the world his extraordinary range as an actor, and demonstrated his ability to improvise on the spot.
