PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwired - November 29, 2016) - MyMusicRx, the flagship music medicine program of the Children's Cancer Association (CCA), is pleased to announce the return of Bedstock, a life-changing music festival where artists play from bed as a show of support for seriously ill kids spending the holidays in hospital beds. This year's online music festival is "Bigger and Bedder" than ever with a star-studded lineup that includes Moby, Norah Jones, Panic! At the Disco, Tegan and Sara, Jack Johnson, Alessia Cara, Warpaint, Skylar Grey, Andy Grammer, and Jasmine Thompson. In-bed performances from these and more than 50 participating artists will debut on www.bedstock.com on Giving Tuesday, November 29, to help fund and raise awareness for MyMusicRx, whose free-of-charge programs deliver the healing power of music to thousands of hospitalized kids and teens across the country.

"I'm excited to be joining so many great artists playing from bed as part of Bedstock this year," said Brendon Urie, frontman of Panic! At the Disco. "It's a simple, sharable reminder of the powerful way that music, and programs like MyMusicRx, can heal and uplift seriously ill kids every day."

In just two short years, Bedstock has featured performances from 57 artists, 30 kids served by MyMusicRx programs, and 12 writers reading their favorite children's books from bed. With help from recording artists like X Ambassadors, Francesco Yates, The Decemberists, Lucius, and BØRNS, along with writers like Cheryl Strayed, Chelsea Cain, Jon Klassen, and Carson Ellis, the festival has generated 185M campaign impressions and raised $50,000 to fuel MyMusicRx bedside and online music medicine programs at 25 pediatric hospitals nationwide.

"Bedstock is an incredible showcase for the kids we have the privilege to serve and for our passionate belief that joy matters and music heals," explained Regina Ellis, Founder and CEO of the Children's Cancer Association. "By literally playing from bed artists and their fans can join MyMusicRx in making a difference right now in the lives of children and teens in the fight of their lives against cancer and other devastating diagnoses."

For the third consecutive year, Converse will generously match the first $10,000 in donations made at www.bedstock.com. Festival partners also include Nike, The FADER, Cornerstone, Atlantic Records, Entercom, Ace Hotel, Stumptown Coffee Roasters, Sonos, Billboard, Pandora, The Door, and Anomaly, a new model agency whose NYC creative team first conceived of Bedstock as a pro-bono project in 2013. Since then, the campaign has won numerous advertising awards including the 2016 Digiday Content Marketing Award (Best Agency/Client Collaboration), One Show Silver Pencil (Best Interactive, Non Profit Website), the 4A's Jay Chiat Strategy Award (Silver, Non-Profit), and most recently, The Mashies (Finalist, Best PSA Multi-Platform Campaign).
