KEPLEY BIOSYSTEMS, INC., NORTH CAROLINA, USA, November 23, 2016 / -- November 23, 2016, Greensboro, NC— Kepley BioSystems (KBI) is pleased to announce being invited to participate in the 2016 International Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Kunshan, China. Represented by research scientist, Lee Robertson, KBI will join a contingent of 50 North Carolina companies as guests of the China Association of Science and Technology and the Jiangsu provincial government, in collaboration with Duke University. During the meeting of Chinese investors and corporations, to be held December 5-6, 2016, KBI will present OrganoBait, a patent- pending, synthetic bait for use as a disruptive alternative for the global conservation of wild baitfish in both commercial and recreational fishing.

Kunshan is known as “the wealthiest small city in China” and is home to the recently constructed 200-acre campus of Duke Kunshan University. The city is looking to attract promising tech startups by supporting local incubators and investing in overseas enterprises. Given China’s role in the global marketplace and its dominance in the worldwide fishing industry, Kepley BioSystems welcomes the opportunity to build collaborative relationships and meet with key industry representatives while attending the conference.

Described by the sponsors as a “road show,” the forum will focus in the areas of: new- generation information technology; new materials; energy and environmental protection; intelligent manufacturing; biomedicine; finance and technology; and the operation and management of high-tech parks. Featured speakers will include John Kao, author of Innovation Nation; William Fischer, former dean of the China Europe International Business School; and Dr. Jacques Giard, professor of design at Arizona State University. The conference will also host parallel sessions, business collaboration match-making opportunities, project exhibits, as well as field trips to local factories and technology parks in Kunshan and other cities in Jiangsu Province.
