Close to 50 Desert Resort team members followed the yellow brick road in the 30th annual Palm Springs Pride Parade which took place the morning of November 6. The parade participants traveled south along Palm Canyon Drive directly to the opening gates for the Palm Springs Pride '16 festival in downtown Palm Springs.

What better way to support our local community that to march along-side them recognizing civil rights and equality," says Desert Resort Management President Mark Dodge. More than 60,000 festival goers celebrated this years' theme "Solidarity Through Pride."  The parade and festival was organized by Greater Palm Springs Pride, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that fosters Pride in and respect for the LGBT community locally and globally and is a catalyst for celebrating the strength, equality, dignity and self-determination of the LGBTQ community.
