Applicants Sought to Compete in Connected Car and Mobility Contest During TiECON Midwest
Aimed at identifying entrepreneurs and startups from the connected transport ecosystem, the competition will center on connected cars /mobility in auto data analytics, on-board diagnostics, M2M to M2I based solutions, vehicle robotic solutions, cyber security, IOT based solution for automotive industry, telematics and infotainment. During the contest, six finalists will compete before an audience of automotive executives, venture capitalists, angel investors and silicon valley technologists. They will also receive 2 complimentary passes to TiECon Midwest. The competition will be live streamed across the globe.
The winner will be eligible to receive from Autonebula: $50,000 investment, support services, and mentorship from Autonebula's extensive network.
“Connected transportation has been gaining more attention recently, especially as more companies and entrepreneurs become involved in the movement,” said Tel Ganesan, President, TiE Detroit. “I am looking forward to seeing what the finalists have to share.”
TiECon will bring together TiE members, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, top industry executives and thought leaders in two action-packed days. TiECon provides a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, explore new businesses, discuss emerging technologies, share growth strategies and obtain insight from global business leaders, community leaders and worldwide experts. The conference will also host “TiE20", which will showcase the most promising 20 start-up companies across the following focus segments: IOT/Sensors, Fintech, Transportation/Mobility, Healthcare, Manufacturing devices. The conference is scheduled for October 27 and October 28, 2016. Detroit being the auto capital of the world and hub for healthcare innovation, and recent trends in Connected Technologies has led to the theme for 2016: Ignite2Disrupt. Connected World and Connected Technologies, focusing on key tracks: Mobility, Healthcare, Fintech, AI, and Global Connectivity.
