Applicants Sought to Compete in Connected Car and Mobility Contest During TiECON Midwest

FARMINGTON HILLS , MICHIGAN, U.S., August 31, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- TiE Detroit, the Detroit chapter of the global non-profit organization for entrepreneurs, along with Autonebula, a business accelerator focused on connected transport, will host “Ignition Lab, Connected Car/Mobility Contest for Startups” during TiECon Midwest, Michigan’s largest ongoing conference for entrepreneurs. The competition will take place 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, October 27 at The Henry (300 Town Center Drive, Dearborn).

Aimed at identifying entrepreneurs and startups from the connected transport ecosystem, the competition will center on connected cars /mobility in auto data analytics, on-board diagnostics, M2M to M2I based solutions, vehicle robotic solutions, cyber security, IOT based solution for automotive industry, telematics and infotainment. During the contest, six finalists will compete before an audience of automotive executives, venture capitalists, angel investors and silicon valley technologists. They will also receive 2 complimentary passes to TiECon Midwest. The competition will be live streamed across the globe.

The winner will be eligible to receive from Autonebula: $50,000 investment, support services, and mentorship from Autonebula's extensive network.
