LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, August 16, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- LOS ANGELES (August 2016) – The Face of Spoiled! is the big buzz throughout Los Angeles. Excitement and anticipation filled the room leading into the start of the 3rd Annual Face of Spoiled! Runway Fashion Competition presented by Cece Hendriks of Spoiled! and hosted by Emmy nominated actress and comedienne Kym E. Whitley. The event was held on Stage 7 at Raleigh Studios in Los Angeles and there were more than 200 anxious guests in attendance.

“I live for this moment of seeing the kids strut their stuff down the runway. The kids are always so excited and ready to perform! This year the talent was exceptional! They were so good I really wanted to give everyone a grand prize” says, Cece Hendriks, Owner of Spoiled!

Contestants ages 5 to 14 hit the runway showcasing two looks, from the Spoiled! store collection in hopes to win the grand prize and become “The Face of Spoiled! Judges for the competition included, Casting Director “Twinkie” Byrd, TV personality Jessica Conseco, Shar Jackson, Talent agent LaRosa Howland of 9010 Talent and NFL network stylist Yolanda Braddy.

During the intermission, in addition to being entertained by the hilarious actress/comedienne Kym E. Whitley, guests were treated to a magic show and performances by School Tour artists “Higher Learning”, and “DJ Kiss”. During the last phase of the competition, each child was asked a question to show that they were articulate after which, the votes were tallied and the grand prize winner and runner up were announced. The grand prize winner, McKayla Salceda walked away with bragging rights, a cash prize of $2000, a $100 gift certificate to shop at Spoiled!, a professional photo shoot and a contract with Talent Agent LaRosa Howland of 90210 Talent Agency who was on hand to congratulate and welcome her aboard. The runner up, Milan Wilson was awarded a $1,000 cash prize, a photo shoot and a $100 gift certificate to shop at Spoiled!

The event also lends its platform in support of the Jenesse Center for Domestic Violence as part of an effort to help raise awareness to its youth program initiatives. Karen Earl, CEO of the Jenesse Center took the stage to introduce the program and how crucial this arm of the center is in the healthy development of youth that have been exposed to or whose lives have been affected by domestic violence.
