EPA Approves Safe Pesticidal IGI Carbon Dioxide, for Fumigation of Storage, Transport, Containment Structure Pest Control

/EINPresswire.com/ -- ACAMPO, CA --(Marketwired - June 27, 2016) - Inert Gas Injection, LLC, (IGI, LLC) made submission to the EPA for pesticidal CO2 to be used for fumigation and eradication of a long list of specific pests for the fumigation of storage, transport, containment structure pest control. Final registration approval was received June 9, 2016 and the product will be known as IGI CO2 (EPA Approved) for fumigation.

"Our proprietary CO2 technology and eradication systems provide a patented, biologically and efficient solution that allows us to eliminate targeted species with no residual chemical or other biologically active substances that may harm children, pets, wildlife or the aquifer," stated Mr. Dentone, President and Co-Founder of IGI, LLC.

IGI CO2 used as a pesticide, is revolutionary and different from all other chemical agents for pest control because it functions only when released in a confined space. Only then do the effects of this naturally occurring, and organic gas, become active. CO2 immediately induces an amnestic effect and pests confined within this space succumb to a lack of breathable air, resulting in the suffocation of the pest. There is no contamination of the soil or other spaces due to lasting chemical and toxic agents. As a result, IGI CO2 used with the line of IGI, LLC delivery devices for various pests meets IPM (Integrated Pest Management) protocols which are required by a large number of municipalities and commercial departments, and has been endorsed by those agencies as such.

IGI has partnered with the largest international industrial gas provider, with mutually exclusive agreements, to be the sole source for the IGI CO2. Mr. Dentone stated, "This innovative and 'ahead of the competition' approach to EPA product development along with the IGI CO2, supplied by this international gas provider gives one a snapshot of the potential revenue streams ahead."

IGI, LLC will have an international distribution network for its complete line of IGI Eliminator pest control products as well as provide training on the products and assist IGI in controlling the EPA approved labeling on all CO2 containers.

The first product available that will deliver the EPA approved CO2 is known as The Eliminator System for fumigation of grainaries, agricultural product storage facilities, cargo containers and ship holds.

Additional labels that are currently under EPA review are for the control of burrowing rodents and bed bugs. The company expects these approvals early next year. The company is also in the process of being approved for use as an organic pesticide for the control of the indications in each of the EPA labels.

"As you can see, this is a revolutionary breakthrough in the field of pest control," said Mr. Dentone, "and one that will help remove many caustic and poison chemicals from the market, making our planet a safer place." He further stated that the lack of a large, well-known leader in the Pest Control Industry who has been innovative in their approach and who is positioned to endorse and provide this type of effective, environmentally safe and cost competitive CO2 pest control product solution creates a "window-of-opportunity that is enormous and is industry changing."

The Eliminator Product Line is manufactured in Northern California. All parts are made in the USA and each device is hand tooled for precision, perfection, and safety. The Eliminator is a registered trademark and is patent pending.
