/EINPresswire.com/ -- EFFINGHAM, IL--(Marketwired - June 21, 2016) - Heartland Dental, LLC, the largest dental support organization in the country, is a supporting corporate donor for the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) Foundation, specifically supporting its oral cancer awareness initiatives during the AGD 2016 dental meeting held July 14th - 17th in Boston.

Oral cancer is typically discovered in its late stages, which leads to a higher death rates. The disease can develop and grow without the patient noticing any obvious symptoms, reducing the chances that it will be diagnosed in the early stages. For these reasons, the AGD Foundation has made this issue a priority.
