City National Hires Zach Mayo as Regional Manager for Commercial Banking; Will Lead Commercial Banking Efforts in New York Area

NEW YORK, June 01, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- City National Bank, America’s Premier Private and Business Bank®, announced today that veteran business banker Zach Mayo has joined the firm as senior vice president and East Coast commercial banking manager in New York.

Based out of City National’s Park Avenue office, Mayo will lead a team of commercial bankers, delivering City National’s customized financial solutions to mid-sized businesses in the New York region. Mayo and his team will provide clients with advice to help grow and expand their businesses while coordinating the delivery of a full complement of banking, credit and treasury management products.

Mayo has more than 30 years of financial services experience. Prior to joining City National, he served as a managing director and executive vice president with Citibank’s commercial banking division in New York. Mayo was responsible for the national middle-market business with commercial hubs throughout the U.S.  

Mayo earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and his master’s from New York University. He is a member of numerous boards and has been honored by such organizations as Big Brothers Big Sisters of America; the Suffolk Y Jewish Community Center and the Community Development Corp. of New York.
