TRUMANN, ARK., UNITED STATES, June 2, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- TRUMANN, Ark. – Author Amanda Hopkins touches the hearts and minds of young readers as she crafts a story of joy, charm, and friendship in her children’s book, “Daisy Dog Goes to School.”

“Daisy Dog Goes to School,” is a witty children’s book about a dog named daisy who is a rescue, adopted dog and gets to go to school for the day, learning many, new things and making new friends.

“This is the third book in our Daisy Dog series. They are all based on our adopted rescue dog, Daisy. I teach kindergarten and my students love to hear about Daisy and her adventures. So I decided to start writing books about Daisy. I wanted people to see that rescue animals are wonderful and I wanted each book to teach children valuable life lessons,” shares Hopkins when asked about the inspiration behind her book.

“This book series is very easy to fall in love with. It is fun, it imparts God-inspired values, and promotes a healthy discussion in the book as a family!” states Taylor Michaud, Acquisitions Editor for Tate Publishing.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Amanda Hopkins was inspired to write by the adoption of their rescue dog, Daisy, and her experiences teaching Kindergarten. She is married to Scott Hopkins and they adopted Daisy into their family five years ago. She has been an Early Childhood Elementary teacher for 15 years. Amanda and Scott love taking Daisy for walks and playing ball with her.
