California author strengthens faith in God through religious fiction

A story of love, piety and Godliness, “Destiny’s Star” is a fictional novel about the look at God’s faithfulness to His people from Abraham through Joshua.
“I started writing ‘Destiny's Star’ quite a few years ago. It began with an in-depth study of warfare from the book of Joshua. The Holy Spirit moved on me with every word I wrote. But I wasn't sure what I should do with it. I set the study aside and went on with my life. Then, our home study group started reading ‘The Purpose Driven Life’ by Rick Warren. I kept having the sensation I had forgotten something. I went to the Lord asking, ‘God, what is it? What did I forget?’ Then, I was in a car accident. I was trapped in the car. I knew I should be dead. While I was waiting for help I asked God, ‘Why am I alive? You must have a purpose for me. What did I forget?’ The Lord very beautifully showed me the closet where I had placed all of my writings. I promised God as soon as I could I would start to compile them into a book. When I came to the story of Joshua, I just knew I had to write this book,” shares Giordano when asked about the inspiration behind her book.

Giordano grew up in a home where the word of God was shared and expounded daily. Her love for the Bible has inspired her passion to share the Word of God through writing. Her hope is that others will become inspired to passionately pursue the Lord. She has attended church all of her life. She loves the Lord and enjoys sharing the Word. She was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She taught these same stories from the Bible to her students.
