Names Kathryn Fioravanti, PhD Vice President
WASHINGTON, DC; May 16, 2016 – Foundation Management Group, Inc. (FMG), a full service firm offering expertise in all areas of nonprofit and foundation management, has named Kathryn (Katie) Fioravanti, PhD, as its new Vice President.
Dr. Fioravanti, who has had extensive experience in various nonprofit settings, will focus on grants management in the arts, education, and medical areas and other growth activities for existing clients as well as develop new business opportunities.

Before joining FMG, Dr. Fioravanti was Senior Program Manager for Medical Services at the Spanish Catholic Center of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington. Her previous positions were Associate Dean of Academic Affairs in the School of Nursing and Health Studies and Assistant Professor in the Department of International Health at Georgetown University. Dr. Fioravanti was also Senior Editor of Healthcare Industry Today. Prior to Georgetown University, Dr. Fioravanti completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. Dr. Fioravanti has a PhD and MSN in Nursing from Case Western Reserve University, with a specialty in public health, and a BA in Studio Art from Gettysburg College.
